Invest in yourself as much as you invest in other things you love. Your number one love in life should be yourself. Most of the time we spend so much time wanting to please others, help others or spend a ton of time trying to have others accept us. Why is this? It’s because we don’t have the ambition to believe in ourselves and recognize how amazing we truly are.
We want to be accepted by others, all while we do not accept ourselves. What I mean by this is that we are great at putting ourselves down. We need to believe we are amazing and can do anything if we set our mind to it. When we are weak, others may take this as a time to take advantage of us, see us as weak also. But, when we are strong and invest in believing we can do anything, others admire us and we become examples of what others want to be.
How many of us depend on others to make us feel better? We want compliments, we want others to tell us how great we are, we want pats on the back, we want people to do things for us if we can’t do it….and why is that? Because we can be hard on ourselves and this stems from believing in ourselves. I have a neighbor how is a hairstylist and she is beyond amazing. She moved into a house that was in shambles. She learned to do sheetrocking, electrical, framing in rooms, taking out walls, and in my eyes, she pretty much redid her entire house all by herself and the help of YouTube. We all can do this if we believed in ourselves.
Invest in your self-worth. Invest on what will make you feel as though you have the world in your hands and can face anything. Investing in yourself means you look in the mirror with a smile knowing your self-worth is vital to a secure and happy life. People will admire you for your bright outlook on life. Yes, sometimes life will kick you in the butt trying to knock you down. Call these times a challenge to make you stronger and a warrior. You got this!!!!
