Understanding Your Worth

Why do we wait for the beginning of the year to start a diet or healthier way of eating? Is it because we believe January 1st is the day we are worth becoming healthier and understanding our worth? You are worth doing everything that makes you feel good about yourself, there is no date on the calendar you need to wait for to find your worth, you are worth more than what you believe.

I have my doubts numerous times about my worth on a daily basis, which makes me dig a tad deeper into how I look at my values and worth. Although I have my doubts, deep down I know I am worthy to feel my best. Yep…I lose sight of my worth and stop eating healthy, stop exercising and stop walking a lot, but I find my way back and get back on track. Sometimes we have to sit down, write down our healthy routines and get back on track…..Because we are worth feeling good about ourselves!!!

I did a TikTok this morning about negative vs positive and to feel upbeat and good about ourselves. Remind yourself that the start of the day sets your mood. If you are a person that listens to the news first, not much positive is said on the news. I used to watch it about 15 years ago and do not anymore…News can be depressing, sad, and make us mad….hence, setting our mood for the day. I recommend looking in the mirror right when you get up and PUMP YOURSELF UP (my Arnold Schwarzenegger impression or was it Hans and Franz…lol).

Remind yourself of all that you have achieved during your lifetime so far, tell yourself some positive affirmations. I tell myself it’s going to be a great day, I’m going to have an amazing day, and I remind myself of all the positive things I have done. Not all in one day…lol. I have come a long way from being a negative individual, a woe is me girl, and I totally believed I would never amount to much. This all changed when I stopped being negative and found my self worth.

Focus on the good things that happen each day, learn to change your negative into a positive, buy a gratitude journal and write in it right before you go to bed so you fall asleep with a positive attitude.

You are worth having a positive life, you are amazing, and you are or can be a positive happy worthy individual.
