Passion in Life

According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, the meanings of passion is, “A strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something or about doing something.”

Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could live our life just doing everything we have a passion for? Well….What are you waiting for? To live a life of passion, which fills your heart, takes work. Nothing comes easy, life passions take a lot of work and sweat, but boy is it worth it in the end.

Life should be full of passion. Living your passion can be as simple as waking up daily excited for your day to start or your passion could be to work hard and play hard, such as traveling around or having the best of the best.

My passion is to be busy enjoying life. When I moved to Idaho I felt alone, the friends I had once in Idaho had either moved away or were busy with their life and new friends. I struggled somewhat…..So….. I joined a group through “Meetup” and I love it. We have coffee almost weekly, have done ceramics, wine tasting is in the future along with lunches and dinners. My passion is to meet people, get to know them and share life experiences, hopes and dreams. I would have never thought of myself as someone who would step out of my comfort zone and meet people on a whim, but I love it. I brought passion back into my life.

Blogging is also my passion. With my life experiences, I feel blogging is important to help others realize that life is hard, but finding your passion can help move you forward in life in a very beautiful way. I stopped feeling sorry for myself, I stopped seeking people to feel sorry for me, I pulled up my big-girl undies and started living my passion. Blogging fills my heart, especially when I get messages from people saying I am helping them or that they are having “Ah Ha” moments.

Passion is important where you work. Let me tell you a few of my jobs….I have been a burger flipper, bartender, worked at Macy’s, a Housekeeper, assembly line worker, Amazon employee, Social Worker, Counselor, Certified Nursing Assistant, Mental Health Specialist, Health Unit Coordinator in the Emergency Department, Life Coach, Blogger and Lead Cashier at Home Depot.

I have never been afraid to try a position I had never worked before. I also have never been scared to quit a job I had no passion for. I believe our health is more important than staying with a job that you dread going to. We spend a lot of time at work, which is why having passion where you work is highly important.

If there isn’t passion in your life, what is stopping you from seeking a life full of passion?
