Being a Life Coach/Counselor

I love what I do. I give life experiences and lessons without charging. I help those who can’t afford to hire counselors or life coaches. My life happiness IS to help those who need encouragement, uplifting and a different view of their senario. In all honesty, my heart explodes when someone has an Oprah’s “ah ha” moment while I am helping them.

I believe, EVERYONE needs someone to talk to, whom they do not know. This allows them to let their true feelings out without a friends, co-workers, and/or family members judge or give them their opinions on how they believe you should be. Truly….I wish everyone had someone to talk to who didn’t judge, but would listen and help them find their way by asking questions that allowed the individual to find their way themselves. Does that make sense?

Goodness, we all have opinions, you have no idea how many times I want to say…”What were you thinking?” to friends or family members, but I know in my heart that that statement only adds more anxiety to the individual.

Let me be very honest with you…NO ONE HAS ALL THE ANSWERS. I have so many areas in my life I am still working on and searching for the right answers. The answers to our questions can only come from within ourselves. We truly need to take a step back from what is confusing us and figure out what baby steps we can take to alleviate the confusions we have with life experiences.

We all want the answers to our problems so quickly and painlessly that we forget how patience is such a virtue in life lessons. This is why I love being a Life Coach and Counselor…..I love to help those find the answers by working to help the individual learn how life lessons are such a blessing in disguise. We become a stronger individual when we are allowed to vent without judgement but with an ear to recognize the appropriate questions to ask, which do no allow the individual to feel they failed.

When I first began to counsel, I was so nervous to ask questions because I didn’t want to hurt the individual’s feelings. I soon learned the appropriate questions that allowed them to stop and think instead of having knee jerk reactions, which we all know gets us into trouble. I soon realized I wanted to be certified as a Master in Life Coaching, and I LOVE IT. As a Life coach I have learned to focus on helping individual create a life path that allows them to achieve their life goals whereas as a counselor I focused on an individuals specific mental health issue, as I am also, a Mental Health Counselor. I love helping with all aspects that life hands us.

My first post was September 23, 2019. I now have 34 countries following me. I couldn’t be more blessed to know I am helping others learn to live the life we all so deserve to live. One day at a time my friends.

Thank you for reading my blog and for following me.
