Endurance

Boy I wish we all would have really paid attention in spelling class when the word

“endurance” was given to us, along with understanding the meaning. According to

Wikipedia, Merriam-Webster, and Yourdictonary.com, endurance means to work hard

to accomplish something even when the going gets tough, without giving up.

Endurance is facing difficult life challenges, facing hardships, learning new things that

are foreign to us, building stamina to do a marathon or to get into the best shape and

health of your life.

When life dishes out hardship, endurance helps us to survive the pain we experience

while learning how much our body can handle. Endurance does not happen to us the

moment we believe we need it. Endurance takes time and patience.

Endurance means to not give up on something that mean so very much to you whither

it be to get to that goal weight, landing your dream job, finishing a triathlon regardless

of how long it takes you….Remember the saying “you are faster than the person sitting

on the couch.”

Endurance is also the utmost importance in relationships. Relationships go through a

lot of ups and downs. Endurance means to listen, learn and help one another meet in

the middle without losing yourself. Endurance means to power through difficult

relationship times without being stubborn, if you know what I mean. Have the

endurance to keep a relationship together and fresh.

As I stated prior, endurance takes time and patience. Having endurance is a dedication

and a lifetime valuable tool for living your healthiest and happiest life.
