I did a lot of smiling today, maybe my facial expressions didn’t show it all day long, but inside, I felt my heart beat encouraging beats. A small amount of encouragement can fill one’s heart tremendously. Sometimes encouragement doesn’t even require words. A smile or having someone help you without asking if you need help, is encouraging.
In these times, we all need some encouragement. My day at work was beyond stressful, but I had co-workers who said words of encouragement, smiled at me, and helped me without even knowing how much I appreciated what they did, like…. shutting my office door so I could concentrate. I so love small jesters of encouragement. I need to remember to be more aware to encourage everyone as well.
I belong to a group on facebook learning a healthier way to eat and exercise. This group encourages one another all day long. It is amazing how much better one feels and wants to succeed with all the encouraging words, emojis, and GIF’s we all give to one another. Seriously….spend time encouraging one another to build up our world instead of spending time discussing what is wrong with someone.
Did you know words or non-words of encouragement helps people to learn to care more about one another. This kind of caring shows we want the best for everyone. Look in the mirror every morning and give yourself some encouragement to start the day. Talk to that mirror and tell it how amazing you are and then go on with your day and spread those encouraging words to others, building others up as you did in the mirror.
Encouraging ourselves each morning sets our mood for the day. We all need to believe in ourselves, encourage ourselves, and spread major encouragement to others throughout the day. Saying “thank-you, have a great day, you’re amazing,” or complimenting someone on their hair, clothes, smile….etc….. are words of encouragement. Kind words encourage anyone.
I want to thank everyone who reads my blog, subscribed to my blog, and sends me emails stating I have helped them in some way. You all encourage me to continue to write, which I so love to do.
