I make excuses when I fail at something, most of the time. I tend to never even give it a second thought, until now. I was talking to my daughter about my dieting and exercising, that doesn’t exist, and boy was I giving her all the excuses possible (they were all true….but they were excuses.) I have failed almost every diet out there, but I never wrote down why I failed or gave it much thought.
We all make changes when he stop running out of excuses and begin to realize, we can change and not fail….if we put our mind to it. So I’m telling my fellow readers right now…..I am going to change to eating healthier and exercising to become happier about myself. I hit the bottom of excuses and it’s time to get it together and stop making excuses.
What are you making excuses about so you don’t have to change for the better? I have many bad habits that I would like to change, but I know myself better to not try and change everything in one day. Why is that???? Because I’m tired of not learning from my fails. I am the only one who can sabotage myself with all my excuses. We are all a work in progress, which means I have the rest of my life to work on myself. 😉 Working on one or two things at a time is plenty and isn’t overwhelming.
Now is the time to stop failing and become a stronger individual. Now is the time to stop making excuses and be true to yourself. Now is the time to wake up everyday knowing you are doing something to better yourself. Don’t just say you’re going to do it, like I have for a very long time, start a journal and celebrate your small goals, which will turn into the ultimate big goal. We can do this. No more excuses.
I have learned from my fails. I’m so glad that I did because now…. I can move forward without using those same excuses. I’m better than that and I deserve to reach goals and celebrate, just as all of you do. Failing teaches us what we can do to change for the better. Find what you have failed numerous times and map out your path to proving you can learn from your fails without using anymore excuses. Below is a small list of things everyone can improve on, by not making any more excuses.
