Life Changes

I have not written for awhile because, well…..so much has changed since the last time I have written. One of the biggest changes for me was when the sale of the home I had purchased with my husband twenty-one years ago sold. I gave up my keys to someone who I know will love that home and the beaches as much as I had.

I know everyone is talking about the virus going around, but I love to talk about life lessons and this is my takeaway from these life changes happening to all of us right now.

I believe in God. I speak to God numerous times a day, mostly thanking him for life lessons and all I have been blessed with. Has my life been easy? Heck no….but I value all the life lessons and all the difficult times I lived through.

I read an article today about a 102-year-old woman who states she has lived through a lot of life changes. Yes we are quarantined there are lessons that come with being quarantined.

Please don’t judge me for what I believe in as I believe we all have reasons for what we believe in. I believe this time is meant to reach out for those we love. Get to know our family and love them deeply. This is a time to forgive and to reach out. This is a time to look at pictures, take pictures, write in our journal, and start new hobbies that can be done in the comfort of our home.

I still work, although I am not on the front line, I do work in the medical field. I found myself watching TV more and playing candy crush on my phone…..Until today…Today I went through some boxes, wrote notes to friends to mail out and decided I wanted to reach out to those I care about rather than feel sorry for myself while watching television or playing games on my phone.

Reach out to your loved ones and friends…..down load an application on your phone so you can talk with them. Write a letter to someone, buy some cards off of Amazon and send a soldier a card, a dear friend or even a long lost friend. Take funny Snapchat photos and post them on Facebook or Instagram.

As the 102-year-old woman in the article stated, we will get through this. People will pass away from the disease, this is inevitable, just as any other disease we have faced.

My lesson through selling my home, which I loved so much, and what is happening in the world today is……This too shall pass….as Garth Brooks stated in his song, “We Shall Be Free.” There is so much good we can do from our home, we just need to think outside the box and be more positive.

When we only think of all the negative, we become depressed and sad. Let’s build our positive mental health minds, show our love for one another, and most of all….love ourselves.

Look in the mirror….we can’t get though life challenges being negative and pissed off. We have to work together with positive thoughts and when someone is negative or ill…..do something that will help them to enjoy all the positive that has happened in their life and all the beautiful memories they have stored in their mind.

We got this world….we all just need to be a little more positive and have faith.

I’ve added my fun SnapChat Picture ……

We need to Trust The Journey and Life Lessons,
