I love how watching TV, reading books, or just listening to people can help you learn lessons by what is said or read. I watched a movie on Netflix tonight called, “Holiday in The Wild” with Rob Lowe. He said, “Without change, there wouldn’t be any butterflies.” There are many reasons why I love this statement.
First off…I thrive on change and the adventures that change me. Sometimes my changes are not for the best, but I have learned such valuable lessons from my changes. Second…..I love butterflies because I believe they are the souls of our loved ones who have passed away. These butterflies have spread their wings and are like angles watching over us.
Our life changes on a daily basis. There is no way someone can have the exact same day twice. Something changes in our life every single day. We think differently about things that happen, we learn from daily activities, and we gain or lose friends or family….It’s the way life is….ever changing, just as a caterpillar spins itself into a cocoon and transforms into a beautiful butterfly or moth, we all change over time.
Change is amazing and scary. I have always loved change and use to be embarrassed because I have changed so much but, in reality I have grown more than I could ever imagine and have spread my butterfly wings. I have become wiser and more loving than I could have ever imagined considering my upbringing.
Everyone should feel like a butterfly. We should be proud of our changes. Taking risks teaches us lessons and helps us to spread our wings onto our next venture. We may not always change for the good, but we will always learn lessons from our changes. Change makes us stronger and butterflies.
